How to choose traditional kitchen taps.

Lever or crosshead?

These traditional taps use classic lever handles, which are easy to turn with wet or full hands.

Bridge, twin lever or single lever?

A bridge mixer needs two tap holes; a twin lever mixer such as Henry Holt Twin Lever or Rodez has two handles on a single body that fits one hole. Henry Holt also comes as a single lever mixer.

Wall-mounted taps

Henry Holt and Second Nature Antica come in wall-mounted versions, which keep the worktop clear behind a Belfast sink.

Water pressure

Most of our taps need at least 0.5 bar of water pressure, which suits mains-pressure and combi boiler systems. If you have a gravity-fed hot water tank, check the pressure first or call us. Rodez Classic Twin Lever has a version made for low pressure.

Sinks and taps are delivered for £10 + VAT anywhere on the UK mainland. In-stock 1810 Company products are dispatched the next working day when you order by 12 noon; in-stock Second Nature sinks and taps arrive in 2–5 working days.
