Oak, prime oak, rustic oak, beech, ash, iroko and walnut worktops from De Terra, from 2m to 4m long, with matching solid wood upstands, worktop bolts and Osmo oils. Choose pre-oiled, or oil them yourself before fitting. Prices include VAT; worktop delivery is £25 + VAT per order.

Laminate or solid timber?
Laminate worktops are hard-wearing, easy to clean and come in hundreds of stone, wood and plain decors, so they suit busy family kitchens and tighter budgets. Solid wood worktops in oak, iroko and walnut bring warmth and character, and scratches can be sanded out and re-oiled rather than replaced.

Caring for a timber worktop
Oil a timber worktop on all sides before fitting, then regularly while it settles in, and wipe up standing water, especially around the sink. Use trivets for hot pans and a chopping board for knives. Looked after this way, timber lasts for years and improves with age.
Joints, edging and delivery
Order the joint strips, end caps, oils and fixings with your worktops so the fitter has everything on the day. Worktops come by national carrier to the kerbside; drivers help unload but don't carry inside, so have a second pair of hands ready.

Laminate, solid wood or quartz worktop?
Laminate is hard-wearing, easy to clean and the lowest cost. Solid wood worktops such as oak, walnut and iroko bring warmth, and scratches can be sanded out and re-oiled. Quartz is the toughest and most stain-resistant, and is made to measure and fitted for you.
How much is worktop delivery?
Solid wood and laminate worktops are delivered nationwide to the kerbside for £25 + VAT per order, however many worktops you order. Drivers help unload but don’t carry inside, so have a second pair of hands ready.
How do I order quartz worktops?
Send us your kitchen plan or measurements and the colour you like for a free quote. Once your units are fitted, we template the kitchen, then cut, polish and fit the quartz, including sink and hob cut-outs and upstands.
How do I look after an oak worktop?
Oil it on all sides before fitting, then regularly while it settles in. Wipe up standing water, especially around the sink, and use trivets for hot pans.
What is compact laminate?
Compact laminate, such as Formica Aria, is solid laminate all the way through, so it is only 12mm or 20mm thick. It is waterproof and very hard-wearing, with a slim, modern edge.
