You don’t need to learn kitchen design software or download a kitchen planner. Our designers use ArtiCAD, the 3D kitchen design software used by kitchen studios across the UK, and draw your kitchen from your measurements and photos. You get the same 3D images, floor plan and elevation drawings a showroom would give you, free.
Better than a free kitchen planner on its own
Free online kitchen planners are good for trying out a layout, but they leave the checks to you. A designer makes sure the units fit your room to the millimetre, leaves space for doors, windows and appliances, plans fillers and end panels, and prices every unit from the range you choose, so the quote matches the design.

Do I need kitchen design software to plan my kitchen?
No. Send us your measurements and photos and our designers plan the kitchen for you in ArtiCAD, professional 3D kitchen design software. You get 3D images, a floor plan, elevation drawings and an itemised quote, free, with nothing to download.
Is a free design service better than a free online kitchen planner?
A planner is handy for trying ideas. A designer also checks that everything fits your room to the millimetre, plans fillers, end panels and appliance spaces, and prices every unit, so the quote matches the drawing. Our design is free either way.
What kitchen layouts can you design?
Any layout: L-shaped, U-shaped, galley, single wall, island, peninsula, open-plan kitchen-diners and small kitchens. If you are not sure which suits your room, we will suggest one from your measurements.

How do I measure my kitchen for a free design?
Measure each wall in millimetres, then the position and size of every window, door, radiator and boiler, and the ceiling height. Mark where the water, gas and electric points are and take a few photos. Our measuring guide walks you through it.
How much does kitchen design cost?
Nothing. The design, 3D images, drawings and quote are free with no obligation to buy, however many changes you ask for.
How long does the design take?
Usually 1–2 working days from when we have your measurements.
What do I need to send?
Your room measurements, a rough sketch and a few photos is enough. We’ll tell you if anything is missing.
Can I change the design?
As many times as you like before you order.
What happens after I send my brief?
A designer checks what you’ve sent and gets in touch if anything is missing. Within 1–2 working days you get a floor plan, 3D images, elevation drawings and an itemised quote. Ask for as many changes as you like. When you’re happy, order online or call 01242 523879. Complete kitchens usually arrive 2–3 weeks after you order, or 5–6 weeks for painted to order.
Which kitchens can you design with?
Any of our 111 ranges from Second Nature, Kitchen Stori, Burbidge, TKC and Pronto by BA, in any of their colours. Tell us a style or colour you like and we’ll suggest ranges to match.
Can you include worktops, appliances and a sink?
Yes. We can add worktops, CDA and Gorenje appliances, sinks, taps and handles to your quote, or plan around ones you already have. Send us the model numbers of any appliances you’re keeping.
Can I see the doors before I order?
Yes. Order sample doors (355 × 297mm) to check the colour and finish in your own light.
I already have a quote from somewhere else. Can you beat it?
Send us the like-for-like quote before you order and we’ll beat it. Send their plan too and we’ll design the same kitchen to compare.
