Does a solid wood worktop need oiling?

Yes. Oil it on all sides, including the underside and any cut edges, before fitting, then regularly while it settles in. Pre-oiled sizes are oiled for you, but cut edges still need oil. Wipe up standing water, especially around the sink.

Can I cut a solid wood worktop to size?

Yes. Worktops are supplied in standard lengths and are cut to fit on site. Leave an expansion gap at walls and seal every cut edge with oil.

How much is worktop delivery?

Worktops are delivered nationwide by carrier to the kerbside for £25 + VAT per order, however many worktops you order. Drivers help unload but don’t carry inside, so have a second pair of hands ready.
