How to choose double bowl kitchen sinks.

Who needs a double bowl?

Big families, keen cooks and anyone who washes up by hand a lot: wash in one bowl, rinse in the other, or soak a roasting tin while the other bowl stays free.

Equal or unequal bowls?

Zen 340/340 and 400/400 bowls are the same size. Zen15 XXL pairs a 550mm bowl with a 340mm one, which takes large trays while still giving a full-size second bowl.

Cabinet size

A double bowl needs a wider sink unit than a single or 1.5 bowl, usually 800mm or 1000mm. Each model lists the cabinet size it needs.

Slim bridge sinks

The 1810 Zen10 Slim Bridge sinks have a narrow bridge between the two bowls, so you get more bowl in the same cabinet width.

What size cabinet does a double bowl sink need?

Usually 800mm or wider. Each model lists its cabinet size; send us your unit size if you are not sure.

Is a double bowl sink worth it?

If you have a dishwasher and a small kitchen, a 1.5 bowl is usually enough. If you wash up by hand often or cook a lot, two full-size bowls are handy.

Do you sell triple bowl sinks?

Yes: the 1810 Zentrio and Etrotrio undermount sinks have three bowls in one sink.

How much is delivery?

Sinks and taps are delivered for £10 + VAT anywhere on the UK mainland. In-stock 1810 Company products are dispatched the next working day when you order by 12 noon; in-stock Second Nature sinks and taps arrive in 2–5 working days.
