How to choose brass & gold kitchen taps.

Polished or brushed?

Gold brass is bright and reflective; brushed gold brass and brushed gold have a soft satin finish that hides fingerprints and water spots better.

Match the sink and handles

Zen15 PVD and Axix sinks come in gold brass to match 1810 taps exactly, and Second Nature Monarch sinks in gold. See our gold and brass kitchen sinks.

Looking after it

Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners and limescale removers.

Water pressure

Most of our taps need at least 0.5 bar of water pressure, which suits mains-pressure and combi boiler systems. If you have a gravity-fed hot water tank, check the pressure first or call us.

These taps have a protective finish, so they keep their colour rather than tarnishing like raw brass.

Is there a matching gold sink?

Yes: 1810 Zen15 PVD and Axix sinks in gold brass, and Second Nature Monarch sinks in gold.

How much is delivery?

Sinks and taps are delivered for £10 + VAT anywhere on the UK mainland. In-stock 1810 Company products are dispatched the next working day when you order by 12 noon; in-stock Second Nature sinks and taps arrive in 2–5 working days.
