A pull-out bin fixes to the back of a pull-out door front and slides out on its own runners, so nothing sits on the floor. Blum’s ECO bins sit inside a soft-close drawer. Base-fixed bins sit on the cabinet floor and slide out behind an ordinary hinged door, and door-mounted bins hang on the inside of a cupboard door, which suits the space under a sink.
Integrated kitchen bins are made for the cabinet’s width: we stock bins for 300mm, 400mm, 450mm, 500mm and 600mm base units, and Gollinucci 9XL bins for deep drawers up to 1000mm wide. A cabinet is usually 36mm narrower inside than its width, so check the inside width, depth and height before you order, or tell us your cabinet size and we will pick the right bin.
Our bins hold from 12 litres (a small door-mounted bin) to 106500 litres (Blum’s LEGRABOX ECO base for a 600mm unit). For a family, two bins of 30 to 42 litres side by side in a 500mm or 600mm unit give general waste and recycling a full-size bin each.
Most pull-out bins split into two, three or four containers, so general waste, recycling and food waste each have their own compartment inside one cupboard. Blum’s ECO top and ECO base drawers include a small lidded bin for food waste, and odour-filter lids keep smells in.
Blum’s ECO bins run on BLUMOTION soft-close runners (TIP-ON push-to-open to order). Several Gollinucci bins open automatically as the cupboard door opens, and the hands-free electronic door opener opens a bin door with a touch of your foot.
Our kitchen bins come from Gollinucci, Blum and Vauth-Sagel (supplied through Stori). You will also find pull-out laundry baskets here for 500mm and 600mm utility units, and spare bins, food-waste caddies, lids and drip mats for Blum ECO bins.
A 600mm bin unit gives the most choice and the most room: up to 108 litres in up to five compartments. In a smaller kitchen, 400mm to 500mm bins still fit two separate bins for waste and recycling.
They are the same idea: a bin built into a kitchen cupboard so it is hidden when the door is shut. A pull-out bin slides out on runners with the door; other integrated bins fix to the cabinet floor, hang on the door or sit in a drawer.
Yes. Any of these bins fits a standard base unit of the right width from any kitchen company, as long as the inside is clear. Bins that fix to the cabinet floor or door keep your hinged door; pull-out bins need the door fixed to the bin frame instead.
Measure inside the cabinet: the width between the side panels (about 36mm less than the unit width), the depth to the back panel and the height up to the worktop or any rail, and note any pipes. Each bin’s page lists its depth and height.
Choose a bin with two to four compartments. Blum’s ECO top and ECO base drawers add a small lidded bin for food waste, and Gollinucci’s 600mm bins split into two 40 litre bins or two larger and two small ones.
Yes: Blum ECO sink drawers shaped around the sink waste (including Quooker versions), bins that fix to the cabinet floor, and door-mounted bins. See our under-sink bins page.
Choose the bin set made for the width of your base unit: a 300mm cabinet takes a slim single bin, while 500mm and 600mm cabinets take larger bins or two or three separate compartments.
Yes. Multi-bin sets split general waste, recycling and food waste into separate containers in one pull-out, so everything is sorted before it goes outside.
A pull-out bin runs on its own runners fixed to the cabinet base, and the door or drawer front is attached to the frame, so the bin comes out when you open the door. Check the space around any sink plumbing before choosing an under-sink bin.
Yes. Accessories can be ordered on their own, with delivery added at checkout. If you order them with a kitchen, they travel with the rest of your order.
