Choosing corner kitchen storage.

Blind corner or L-shaped corner?

A blind corner unit has a door on one side only, with the rest of the cupboard hidden behind the next unit, so it needs a pull-out that brings the hidden part out to you. An L-shaped corner unit has a door on both sides of the corner and suits a carousel.

LeMans or Magic Corner?

A LeMans unit swings two curved shelves out one after the other, which makes it quick to use. A Magic Corner brings the front baskets out with the door and slides the rear baskets across, so it makes more of a deep corner.

Measure the cabinet and the door

Corner units are made for a cabinet width (usually 800mm to 1000mm) and often a door width too, so check both. The table shows what each range is made for.

Left or right hand?

Many corner units are made left hand or right hand to suit the way your corner runs, so check the handing on the range page. Vauth-Sagel CORNERSTONE Swing and COR Flex are unhanded and fit either way.

What is the best storage for a blind corner?

A pull-out that brings the hidden part of the cupboard out to you. LeMans suits a quick, simple corner; Magic Corner and Ninka TRIGON make more of a deep corner. Carousels suit L-shaped corners rather than blind ones.

What is a LeMans corner unit?

A blind corner pull-out with two curved shelves that swing out of the cabinet one after the other. Kesseböhmer’s LeMans II suits 800mm to 1000mm corner cabinets with a 400mm to 600mm door.

LeMans or Magic Corner?

LeMans is quicker to use: two curved shelves swing out. Magic Corner has two sets of baskets: the front set comes out with the door and the rear set slides across, which gives more usable space in a deep corner.

What size corner cabinet do I need?

Most blind corner pull-outs are made for 800mm to 1000mm corner cabinets, and some also need a set door width. Each range lists the cabinet and door it fits.

Can I fit a corner unit to my existing kitchen?

Often, yes, if the cabinet and door are the sizes the unit is made for and the inside is clear. Send us the cabinet width, depth, height and door width and we will check.
