What you're actually buying.

The Tetbury in-frame kitchen from Burbidge comes rigid, with the doors and drawer fronts already fitted to your cabinets. It comes in 27 colours, and can also be painted to order. The doors are 20.5mm thick, made from solid timber and timber veneers. A 600mm base unit in Tetbury starts at £291.31, and we plan every Tetbury kitchen free before you order.

Tetbury is an in-frame kitchen from Burbidge, supplied as rigid in-frame kitchen units with the doors already fitted. Burbidge is a family-owned British manufacturer that has worked with timber since 1867 and now makes kitchen doors, accessories and storage from its base in Coventry. Its ranges span in-frame, classic Shaker and contemporary slab designs, with painted doors hand-sprayed in its own UK factory. The company holds the Manufacturing Guild Mark from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.

About the Tetbury in-frame kitchen

The Tetbury kitchen from Burbidge is a traditional beaded in-frame design with a classic English farmhouse feel. It is made from solid timber and timber veneers, with doors 20.5mm thick. Curved doors and decorative open units are available. The Tetbury in-frame kitchen suits country cottages and larger family kitchens where a crafted, furniture-like look is wanted. Burbidge makes it in Coventry.

You can have Tetbury in natural oak or hand-sprayed matt paint. The oak version has a solid oak frame with an 8mm oak-veneered panel. Painted doors come from Burbidge's palette, which includes Bone, Putty, Soft Grey, Reed Green and Old Navy. Bespoke colours can be painted to order. Handles are supplied separately, such as the K144 knob, and made-to-measure door sizes are available.

Our kitchens are supplied as rigid cabinets with doors fitted, ready for your fitter. Soft-close hinges and drawers are standard, the carcase is colour-coordinated where available, and the carcase guarantee lasts 25 years. Our free design service includes 3D images and an itemised quote, and you can change the layout before anything is ordered. We can post a sample door so you can compare oak and paint in your own light. A 600mm base unit starts at £291.31.

Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.

See sample doors at our Cheltenham showroom, 60 Alstone Lane, GL51 8HE. Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm.

Can I buy doors only?

Yes. Replacement doors and drawer fronts are sold on their own, from Second Nature, Burbidge, Kitchen Stori and others, plus a made-to-measure service so you can reface existing cabinets. Doors come undrilled for hinges as standard.

Can I have Tetbury in a colour that isn't listed?

Yes, bespoke painted colours available. Paint-to-order kitchens usually take 5–6 weeks. Ask your designer for the current palette.

Do you recommend fitters?

We don't install kitchens ourselves, but we can put you in touch with local installers we have worked with before. They cover Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury and nearby areas. Our design pack includes elevation drawings for your fitter to work from.

Can I see the doors before I buy?

Yes. You can order a sample door (355 x 297mm). The charge is credited back when you place a full order. You can also see a wide range of sample doors at our Cheltenham showroom, Monday to Friday 10am-5pm.

How long does delivery take?

Complete kitchens usually take 2-3 weeks. Bespoke painted kitchens take 5-6 weeks. Cabinets arrive rigid with the doors already fitted, and someone needs to be there to sign for the delivery.
