What you're actually buying.
The Mornington Shaker kitchen from Second Nature comes rigid, with the doors and drawer fronts already fitted to your cabinets. Choose a stocked colour or any shade from the 35-colour paint-to-order palette. The doors are 20mm thick, made from ash frame, ash-veneered MDF centre panel. A 600mm base unit in Mornington Shaker starts at £141.95, and we plan every Mornington Shaker kitchen free before you order.
Mornington Shaker is a Shaker kitchen from Second Nature, supplied as rigid Shaker kitchen units with the doors already fitted. Second Nature is the consumer kitchen brand of PWS Distributors Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1909. Its door ranges run from foil and lacquered slabs to real-timber Shakers and in-frame designs, and are sold only through a national network of independent kitchen retailers rather than direct.

About the Mornington Shaker kitchen
Mornington Shaker is Second Nature's core painted Shaker. It is a five-piece real-timber door with an ash frame and ash-veneered centre panel, finished in matt paint with the grain showing through. The door is 20mm thick, with an 88mm frame and a 10mm-deep panel. The Mornington Shaker kitchen has simple, balanced proportions that suit traditional and modern rooms equally.
Photographed colours include Dove Grey, Graphite, Dust Grey, Partridge Grey, Porcelain and Stone. Hartforth Blue is also available. There are ten stock colours, and doors can be supplied sanded for painting on site. Paint to order is offered from a 35-colour palette. Choose handles or the Outline integrated system, and bespoke sizes are available for tricky spaces.
Cabinets are delivered rigid-built, with the doors fitted before they leave us. Soft-close hinges and drawer runners come as standard, backed by a 25-year carcase guarantee. Prices start at £141.95 for a 600mm base unit. Our designers plan your kitchen free, with 3D images and an itemised quote, and sample doors are available. Our family-run team can talk you through the range by phone or in the Cheltenham showroom.
Carcase colour
Choose the colour of your cabinets.
Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.

Can I buy doors only?
Yes. Replacement doors and drawer fronts are sold on their own, from Second Nature, Burbidge, Kitchen Stori and others, plus a made-to-measure service so you can reface existing cabinets. Doors come undrilled for hinges as standard.
Can I have Mornington Shaker in a colour that isn't listed?
Yes, from a 35-colour paint-to-order palette. Paint-to-order kitchens usually take 5–6 weeks. Ask your designer for the current palette.
Do you recommend fitters?
We don't install kitchens ourselves, but we can put you in touch with local installers we have worked with before. They cover Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury and nearby areas. Our design pack includes elevation drawings for your fitter to work from.
Can I see the doors before I buy?
Yes. You can order a sample door (355 x 297mm). The charge is credited back when you place a full order. You can also see a wide range of sample doors at our Cheltenham showroom, Monday to Friday 10am-5pm.
How long does delivery take?
Complete kitchens usually take 2-3 weeks. Bespoke painted kitchens take 5-6 weeks. Cabinets arrive rigid with the doors already fitted, and someone needs to be there to sign for the delivery.
