Second Nature is the consumer kitchen brand of PWS Distributors Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1909. Its door ranges run from foil and lacquered slabs to real-timber Shakers and in-frame designs, and are sold only through a national network of independent kitchen retailers rather than direct.

Mornington Shaker Oak is the Mornington Shaker door from Second Nature. It is made in European oak and left in a natural timber finish, not painted. The door is a 20mm lay-on, in solid wood with real veneer. The Mornington Shaker Oak kitchen brings warmth and texture from the visible oak grain. It suits Scandinavian, rustic or modern-organic schemes.
The finish is natural oak. There is one colour in this range, which is the timber itself, so the grain and tone of the oak do the work. It also works as a contrast alongside painted Mornington units, for example on an island or a run of tall cabinets. Bespoke sizes are available. Ask for a sample door to see the grain in your own light.
We supply rigid-built cabinets with doors fitted, and the carcase colour is coordinated with the door where available. Soft-close hinges and drawers are standard, and the carcase carries a 25-year guarantee. The design service is free and includes 3D images and an itemised quote, and we can send sample doors. A typical 13-unit L-shaped Mornington Shaker Oak kitchen starts at £2,826.25, units only. Because the price is itemised, you can compare this range with others line by line.
Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.
Swatches from the EGGER Decorative Collection, 18mm board. “UK stock” and “To order” show Egger’s board availability. Standard carcase colours are included in the price; other colours cost extra and we’ll confirm the price with your order. Colours on screen are approximate.
