What you're actually buying.

The Mornington Beaded Shaker kitchen from Second Nature comes rigid, with the doors and drawer fronts already fitted to your cabinets. Choose a stocked colour or any shade from the 35-colour paint-to-order palette. The doors are 20mm thick, made from ash frame, ash-veneered MDF centre panel. A 600mm base unit in Mornington Beaded starts at £141.95, and we plan every Mornington Beaded kitchen free before you order.

Mornington Beaded is a Shaker kitchen from Second Nature, supplied as rigid Shaker kitchen units with the doors already fitted. Popular choices include a Graphite Shaker kitchen, a Partridge Grey Shaker kitchen, a Porcelain Shaker kitchen and a Stone Shaker kitchen. Want a painted Shaker kitchen? Second Nature is the consumer kitchen brand of PWS Distributors Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1909. Its door ranges run from foil and lacquered slabs to real-timber Shakers and in-frame designs, and are sold only through a national network of independent kitchen retailers rather than direct.

About the Mornington Beaded Shaker kitchen

Mornington Beaded is a real-timber Shaker from Second Nature, with a fine bead running inside the frame. This adds a traditional detail to a simple design. It has an ash frame and ash-veneered MDF centre panel, with an 88mm frame including a 15mm bead. The door is 20mm thick. The Mornington Beaded Shaker kitchen suits period homes and classic country rooms.

The matt paint lets the ash grain texture come through. Colours we have photographed include Graphite, Partridge Grey, Porcelain, Stone and Dove Grey. Ten standard colours are offered, and doors can also be supplied sanded for painting on site. Paint to order is available from a 35-colour palette. Choose handles or the Outline integrated system, and bespoke sizes are available.

All our kitchens are supplied as rigid cabinets with doors fitted and colour-coordinated carcases where available. Expect soft-close doors and drawers, and a 25-year guarantee on the carcase. Pricing begins at £141.95 for a 600mm base unit. Ask for a free design from our Cheltenham team, with 3D images, an itemised quote and sample doors to hold up against your walls. Our showroom is in Cheltenham if you would like to talk the plan through in person with the team.

Carcase colour

Choose the colour of your cabinets.

Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.

See sample doors at our Cheltenham showroom, 60 Alstone Lane, GL51 8HE. Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm.

Can I buy doors only?

Yes. Replacement doors and drawer fronts are sold on their own, from Second Nature, Burbidge, Kitchen Stori and others, plus a made-to-measure service so you can reface existing cabinets. Doors come undrilled for hinges as standard.

Can I have Mornington Beaded in a colour that isn't listed?

Yes, from a 35-colour paint-to-order palette. Paint-to-order kitchens usually take 5–6 weeks. Ask your designer for the current palette.

Do you recommend fitters?

We don't install kitchens ourselves, but we can put you in touch with local installers we have worked with before. They cover Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury and nearby areas. Our design pack includes elevation drawings for your fitter to work from.

Can I see the doors before I buy?

Yes. You can order a sample door (355 x 297mm). The charge is credited back when you place a full order. You can also see a wide range of sample doors at our Cheltenham showroom, Monday to Friday 10am-5pm.

How long does delivery take?

Complete kitchens usually take 2-3 weeks. Bespoke painted kitchens take 5-6 weeks. Cabinets arrive rigid with the doors already fitted, and someone needs to be there to sign for the delivery.
