Second Nature is the consumer kitchen brand of PWS Distributors Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1909. Its door ranges run from foil and lacquered slabs to real-timber Shakers and in-frame designs, and are sold only through a national network of independent kitchen retailers rather than direct.

Hunton is a slimline one-piece Shaker from Second Nature, with a narrow 75mm surround and a shallow 5mm recessed centre. It is made from HDF, 18mm thick, with a smooth matt paint finish. The pared-back proportions give a modern edge while keeping the familiar Shaker outline. The Hunton Shaker kitchen works in contemporary and classic homes alike.
Colours we have photographed include Porcelain, Dove Grey, Dust Grey, Hartforth Blue, Taupe Grey and Graphite. Regiment is also in the range. Doors can be painted to order from a 35-colour palette. Handle choices are wide: fit handles, choose true handleless, or use the Outline integrated system. A separate Hunton Handleless version is available. Bespoke sizes can be made.
Cabinets are delivered rigid-built, with the doors fitted before they leave us. Soft-close hinges and drawer runners come as standard, backed by a 25-year carcase guarantee.
