Burbidge is a family-owned British manufacturer that has worked with timber since 1867 and now makes kitchen doors, accessories and storage from its base in Coventry. Its ranges span in-frame, classic Shaker and contemporary slab designs, with painted doors hand-sprayed in its own UK factory. The company holds the Manufacturing Guild Mark from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.

The Finsbury Shaker kitchen is a classic Shaker door with a small bead around the inside of the frame. The bead adds a traditional touch. Burbidge makes it from a solid ash frame with a 6mm ash-veneered panel. It is hand-sprayed in matt paint, or supplied primed for painting on site. It is a practical choice if you want timber Shaker styling with a little extra detail.

Colours we stock and photograph include Seal Grey, Putty, Soft Grey and Reed Green, and the door is also available primed. Bespoke painted colours can be ordered if you want a shade outside the standard palette. Separate handles are used, such as the K150 cup handle or the K144 knob. Glazed and curved doors are available, and door sizes can be made to measure. The primed option suits anyone who wants to paint the doors after installation.

Our kitchens arrive as rigid cabinets with the doors fitted. We use a colour-coordinated carcase where we can, and hinges and drawers are soft-close. There is a 25-year guarantee on the carcase. A 600mm base unit starts at £164.53. One of our designers will draw up your room free of charge, with 3D images and an itemised quote. If you are undecided between painted and primed, ask us for sample doors to compare.

Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.
