The Fenton Shaker kitchen from Burbidge comes rigid, with the doors and drawer fronts already fitted to your cabinets. It comes in 26 colours, and can also be painted to order. The doors are 20.5mm thick, made from solid ash frame, 9mm ash-veneered panel. A 600mm base unit in Fenton starts at £164.53, and we plan every Fenton kitchen free before you order.

Burbidge is a family-owned British manufacturer that has worked with timber since 1867 and now makes kitchen doors, accessories and storage from its base in Coventry. Its ranges span in-frame, classic Shaker and contemporary slab designs, with painted doors hand-sprayed in its own UK factory. The company holds the Manufacturing Guild Mark from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.

The Fenton Shaker kitchen is a simple door with slim-line framing and no added mouldings. Burbidge builds it around a solid ash frame and a 9mm ash-veneered centre panel. The frame is square and unadorned. Hand-sprayed matt paint lets the grain show, which gives the door a natural timber feel. It is a straightforward choice if you want a Shaker with a slim frame and little decoration.

Colours we stock and photograph include Soft Grey, Putty, Seal Grey and Baltic Green. The wider Burbidge palette also includes Bone, Reed Green, Prussian Blue and Charcoal. Bespoke painted colours are available too. The door takes handles, for example the K205. Made-to-measure door sizes are offered, and curved doors are available when a corner or a bay needs them. Because the paint is hand-sprayed rather than foiled, the wood grain stays visible across the frame.

Cabinets arrive rigid, with the doors already fitted and a colour-coordinated carcase where available. Soft-close hinges and drawers are included, and the carcase is guaranteed for 25 years. A 600mm base unit starts at £164.53. We plan your room for free, and you will receive 3D images and an itemised quote. Sample doors are available so you can check the grain and paint colour against your worktop and flooring before you order.

Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.
