The Crathorne Shaker kitchen from Second Nature comes rigid, with the doors and drawer fronts already fitted to your cabinets. Second Nature kitchens are made and distributed by PWS Distributors Ltd (PWS), and we order them direct from PWS. Choose a stocked colour or any shade from the 35-colour paint-to-order palette. The doors are 20mm thick, made from ash timber frame, veneered MDF centre panel. Crathorne is a Shaker kitchen from Second Nature, supplied as rigid units with the doors already fitted. It comes in 10 stocked colours, from Porcelain and Taupe Grey to Graphite and Carbon, and can be painted to order.

Second Nature is the consumer kitchen brand of PWS Distributors Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1909. Its door ranges run from foil and lacquered slabs to real-timber Shakers and in-frame designs, and are sold only through a national network of independent kitchen retailers rather than direct.

Crathorne is a narrow-framed Shaker from Second Nature, made in real ash. The 68mm frame is lighter than a classic Shaker, and the centre panel is veneered MDF, 6mm deep. The door is a 20mm lay-on. The Crathorne Shaker kitchen therefore works in both modern and traditional rooms. Matt paint leaves the ash grain visible.

There are eleven standard finishes, including sanded doors for painting on site. Photographed colours include Porcelain, Taupe Grey, Dove Grey, Hartforth Blue, Regiment and Stone. Doors can also be painted to order from a 35-colour palette. Handle options run wider than usual: fit handles, choose true handleless, or use the Outline integrated system. Bespoke sizes are available.

We supply rigid-built cabinets with doors fitted, and the carcase colour is coordinated with the door where available. Soft-close hinges and drawers are standard, and the carcase carries a 25-year guarantee. The design service is free and includes 3D images and an itemised quote, and we can send sample doors. Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.
