The Chartwell in-frame kitchen from Burbidge comes rigid, with the doors and drawer fronts already fitted to your cabinets. It comes in 26 colours, and can also be painted to order. The doors are 20.5mm thick, made from solid ash, 8mm ash-veneered panel. A 600mm base unit in Chartwell starts at £164.53, and we plan every Chartwell kitchen free before you order.

Chartwell is an in-frame kitchen from Burbidge, supplied as rigid in-frame kitchen units with the doors already fitted. Burbidge is a family-owned British manufacturer that has worked with timber since 1867 and now makes kitchen doors, accessories and storage from its base in Coventry. Its ranges span in-frame, classic Shaker and contemporary slab designs, with painted doors hand-sprayed in its own UK factory. The company holds the Manufacturing Guild Mark from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.

The Chartwell in-frame kitchen is a solid ash Shaker door with a fine detail line routed around the edge. That line gives the look of a traditional in-frame kitchen while the door fits standard lay-on cabinets. Burbidge hand-sprays it in matt paint with the ash grain showing through, over an 8mm ash-veneered centre panel. It suits people who like the in-frame style but want a simpler way to achieve it.

Colours we stock and photograph are Baltic Green, Soft Grey, Putty and Seal Grey. Burbidge also offers bespoke painted colours if you want a shade outside those. Separate handles are used, such as the K186 cup handle or the K185 knob. Made-to-measure door sizes are available, along with curved and glazed doors. An overmantel arrangement can be added if you plan a range cooker or a chimney-breast feature in the room.

With a Chartwell kitchen from us, the cabinets are rigid-built and the doors come fitted. The carcase is colour-coordinated where available. Hinges and drawers are soft-close, and the carcase has a 25-year guarantee. A 600mm base unit starts at £164.53. Our designer will plan your room for free and provide 3D images with an itemised quote. If you would like to see the routed line and the grain up close, ask for a sample door.

Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.
