Brackenbury is a Shaker kitchen from Burbidge, supplied as rigid units with the doors already fitted. It comes in 27 stocked colours, from Bone and Putty to All Black and Natural Oak.
Burbidge is a family-owned British manufacturer that has worked with timber since 1867 and now makes kitchen doors, accessories and storage from its base in Coventry. Its ranges span in-frame, classic Shaker and contemporary slab designs, with painted doors hand-sprayed in its own UK factory. The company holds the Manufacturing Guild Mark from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.

The Brackenbury Shaker kitchen slims the frame of a Shaker door right down, which gives a lighter, more contemporary take on a familiar style. Burbidge builds it from solid timber with a veneered centre panel. The frame is described as super-skinny, so the flat panel takes up more of the door face. It suits anyone after a modern look with a little warmth, and it can be planned with handles or as a handleless kitchen.
Brackenbury is hand-sprayed in matt paint or supplied in natural oak. We stock and photograph Bone, and the palette also includes Putty, Soft Grey, Reed Green, Baltic Green and Prussian Blue. Bespoke painted colours are available if none of those suits your scheme. Natural oak is a good route if you would like visible timber rather than paint. Made-to-measure sizing is available from Burbidge, so the doors can be cut to suit your room.
Every kitchen from us arrives with rigid cabinets and the doors fitted. The carcase is colour-coordinated where available, and hinges and drawers are soft-close. A 25-year guarantee covers the carcase. A typical 13-unit L-shaped Brackenbury kitchen starts at £2,972.84, units only. Our designers plan your room at no charge and provide 3D images with an itemised quote. If you are unsure whether the slim frame suits you, we can arrange sample doors. That lets you compare Brackenbury with a standard Shaker.
Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.
Swatches from the EGGER Decorative Collection, 18mm board. “UK stock” and “To order” show Egger’s board availability. Standard carcase colours are included in the price; other colours cost extra and we’ll confirm the price with your order. Colours on screen are approximate.
