Belsay Smooth is a Shaker kitchen from Second Nature, supplied as rigid units with the doors already fitted. It comes in 5 stocked colours, from Porcelain and Cashmere to Reed Green and Indigo, and can be painted to order.
Second Nature is the consumer kitchen brand of PWS Distributors Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1909. Its door ranges run from foil and lacquered slabs to real-timber Shakers and in-frame designs, and are sold only through a national network of independent kitchen retailers rather than direct.

Belsay Smooth keeps the modern Shaker shape and chamfered centre panel of Belsay, but replaces the woodgrain texture with a flat, smooth matt surface. The result looks cleaner and slightly more contemporary. It is a Second Nature foil-wrapped MDF door, 19mm thick and lay-on, with a 94mm frame. The Belsay Smooth Shaker kitchen suits budget-conscious projects in any style of home.
Five standard colours are offered: Porcelain, Cashmere, Dove Grey, Reed Green and Indigo. All five have been photographed. If you want a different shade, doors can be painted to order from a 35-colour palette. Bespoke sizes are available too, which is useful where a standard cabinet width leaves an awkward gap. The smooth surface is a good match for plain worktops.
All our kitchens are supplied as rigid cabinets with doors fitted and colour-coordinated carcases where available. Expect soft-close doors and drawers, and a 25-year guarantee on the carcase. A typical 13-unit L-shaped Belsay Smooth kitchen starts at £2,014.89, units only. Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.
Swatches from the EGGER Decorative Collection, 18mm board. “UK stock” and “To order” show Egger’s board availability. Standard carcase colours are included in the price; other colours cost extra and we’ll confirm the price with your order. Colours on screen are approximate.
839 cabinets, doors, panels and fittings for Belsay Smooth, from £7.45. Choose your door colour or paint shade, filter by type or search by code, then add what you need — or send us your plan and we’ll list it for you.
