Second Nature is the consumer kitchen brand of PWS Distributors Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1909. Its door ranges run from foil and lacquered slabs to real-timber Shakers and in-frame designs, and are sold only through a national network of independent kitchen retailers rather than direct.

About the Porter Matt Handleless kitchen
The Porter Matt Handleless kitchen from Second Nature pairs the matt-lacquered Porter slab with a true handleless rail system. There are no handles on the fronts, which keeps the kitchen streamlined. The door is 18mm MDF with a soft matt painted finish that looks understated and contemporary. It suits open-plan living spaces and minimalist designs.
Choose from stocked colours such as Cashmere, Graphite, Hartforth Blue, Porcelain, Silver Grey and White. The full 35-colour paint-to-order palette is also open to you if you want something different. The handleless rail comes in a choice of five colours, so the channel between doors can match or contrast. Bespoke sizes are available for walls that need a made-to-measure fit. Porter Gloss Handleless uses the same rail system and 18mm MDF door if you would rather have a gloss finish.
Your order comes as rigid cabinets with fitted doors, and the carcase carries a 25-year guarantee. A 600mm base unit starts at £148.32. Soft-close hinges and drawers are part of the package, and the carcase is colour-coordinated where available. Our free design comes with 3D images and an itemised quote. Sample doors are available if you want to check colour and texture first.

Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.

Can I buy doors only?
Yes. Replacement doors and drawer fronts are sold on their own, from Second Nature, Burbidge, Kitchen Stori and others, plus a made-to-measure service so you can reface existing cabinets. Doors come undrilled for hinges as standard.
Can I have Porter Matt Handleless in a colour that isn't listed?
Yes, from a 35-colour paint-to-order palette. Paint-to-order kitchens usually take 5–6 weeks. Ask your designer for the current palette.
Do you recommend fitters?
We don't install kitchens ourselves, but we can put you in touch with local installers we have worked with before. They cover Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury and nearby areas. Our design pack includes elevation drawings for your fitter to work from.
Can I see the doors before I buy?
Yes. You can order a sample door (355 x 297mm). The charge is credited back when you place a full order. You can also see a wide range of sample doors at our Cheltenham showroom, Monday to Friday 10am-5pm.
How long does delivery take?
Complete kitchens usually take 2-3 weeks. Bespoke painted kitchens take 5-6 weeks. Cabinets arrive rigid with the doors already fitted, and someone needs to be there to sign for the delivery.
