Second Nature is the consumer kitchen brand of PWS Distributors Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1909. Its door ranges run from foil and lacquered slabs to real-timber Shakers and in-frame designs, and are sold only through a national network of independent kitchen retailers rather than direct.

The Porter Gloss Handleless kitchen from Second Nature uses the gloss-lacquered Porter slab on a true handleless rail system. Doors open from a recessed channel, so the run of fronts stays uninterrupted. The door is 18mm MDF with a painted gloss finish. It suits minimalist, modern kitchens where clean lines and easy cleaning matter most.

The rail comes in a choice of five colours, so you can decide whether it blends into the door or forms a contrast line. Stocked door colours include Cashmere, Dove Grey, Dust Grey, Porcelain, Taupe Grey and White. Other shades can be painted to order from a 35-colour palette. Bespoke sizes are available too, which helps when a handleless layout needs to fit a specific wall. The matt version of the same door is also available if you prefer a calmer, low-sheen finish.

Choose this range and the cabinets arrive rigid with the doors on. Hinges and drawers are soft-close, the carcase is colour-coordinated where available, and the carcase has a 25-year guarantee.
