Burbidge is a family-owned British manufacturer that has worked with timber since 1867 and now makes kitchen doors, accessories and storage from its base in Coventry. Its ranges span in-frame, classic Shaker and contemporary slab designs, with painted doors hand-sprayed in its own UK factory. The company holds the Manufacturing Guild Mark from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.

The Otto Matt kitchen from Burbidge uses a flat slab door with a smooth, hand-sprayed matt finish. It gives a clean, modern look without shine. The door has a 22mm MDF core, is sprayed by hand in the UK and is made by Burbidge in Coventry. It suits contemporary homes and open-plan living spaces, where plain doors keep the room calm and uncluttered.

Otto Matt is stocked in Anthracite, Light Grey and Porcelain, all in the same smooth matt paint. You can plan it as a true handleless kitchen, with a rail fitted into the cabinets behind the door. Standard or top-fixed handles are the alternative. Made-to-measure door sizes are available, and curved doors can also be made. That gives you room to shape the layout around your own walls rather than fitting the room to standard sizes.

Every kitchen we sell arrives as rigid cabinets with the doors already fitted, so there is no flat-pack assembly. Soft-close hinges and drawers are included, the carcase is colour-coordinated where available, and it carries a 25-year guarantee. Our designer plans your room free, with 3D images and an itemised quote. Sample doors can be sent so you can check the finish at home. A 600mm base unit in this range starts at £149.73.

Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.
