Otto Laminate is a slab kitchen from Burbidge, supplied as rigid units with the doors already fitted. It comes in Concrete, Dark Oak and Oxide.
Burbidge is a family-owned British manufacturer that has worked with timber since 1867 and now makes kitchen doors, accessories and storage from its base in Coventry. Its ranges span in-frame, classic Shaker and contemporary slab designs, with painted doors hand-sprayed in its own UK factory. The company holds the Manufacturing Guild Mark from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.
Door details from Burbidge and stockist specifications, checked September 2026. Your designer will confirm sizes and finishes before you order.
The Otto Laminate slab kitchen uses a plain slab door faced in realistic laminates, including a concrete effect and timber-effect finishes. Burbidge builds it on a 22mm chipboard core. It can be fitted as a true handleless kitchen, using a rail set into the cabinets, or with handles. The door is durable and low-maintenance, which suits busy households and anyone wanting an industrial or natural-material look.
Three finishes are offered: Concrete, Oxide and Dark Oak. Concrete and Oxide are the two we stock and photograph. Dark Oak is the woodgrain-effect option in the range. The door is a flat slab. It works with either a handleless rail or fitted handles. Burbidge makes it to measure, and curved doors are available. Made-to-measure sizes help when a run of units has to fit tightly.
Cabinets arrive rigid, with the doors fitted, so there is nothing to assemble. We use a colour-coordinated carcase where available. Soft-close hinges and drawers are standard, and the carcase carries a 25-year guarantee. A typical 13-unit L-shaped Otto Laminate kitchen starts at £2,131.10, units only. A designer will plan your kitchen free of charge, with 3D images and an itemised quote. Sample doors are available if you want to compare the laminate effects side by side.
Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.
Swatches from the EGGER Decorative Collection, 18mm board. “UK stock” and “To order” show Egger’s board availability. Standard carcase colours are included in the price; other colours cost extra and we’ll confirm the price with your order. Colours on screen are approximate.
730 cabinets, doors, panels and fittings for Otto Laminate, from £15.91. Choose your door colour or paint shade, filter by type or search by code, then add what you need — or send us your plan and we’ll list it for you.
