Malmo Matt is a handleless kitchen from Burbidge, supplied as rigid handleless kitchen units with the doors already fitted. Popular choices include an Anthracite handleless kitchen, a Light Grey handleless kitchen, a Porcelain handleless kitchen and a White handleless kitchen.

Burbidge is a family-owned British manufacturer that has worked with timber since 1867 and now makes kitchen doors, accessories and storage from its base in Coventry. Its ranges span in-frame, classic Shaker and contemporary slab designs, with painted doors hand-sprayed in its own UK factory. The company holds the Manufacturing Guild Mark from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.

The Malmo Matt handleless kitchen uses the same handleless slab as Malmo Gloss, with a finger rail formed into the door. Burbidge finishes it in a smooth matt, hand-sprayed in the UK, over a 22mm MDF core. The result is calm and understated, with no handles to break up the run of units. It is a good choice for minimalist kitchens where a soft, low-sheen look is wanted.

Four colours are available: Anthracite, Light Grey, Porcelain and White. Anthracite gives you a dark option, while the other three are light and neutral. Because the door is handleless, the finger rail does the work that a handle would, and the fronts stay flat. Burbidge offers made-to-measure door sizes, along with curved and glazed doors. Those options help when a room has walls that are not square.

With us, the cabinets come rigid and the doors are already fitted. The carcase is colour-coordinated where available, and hinges and drawers are soft-close. A 25-year guarantee covers the carcase. A 600mm base unit costs from £158.03. Book a free design and a designer will produce 3D images and an itemised quote. If you want to check the matt finish in person, we can supply sample doors.

Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.
