Burbidge is a family-owned British manufacturer that has worked with timber since 1867 and now makes kitchen doors, accessories and storage from its base in Coventry. Its ranges span in-frame, classic Shaker and contemporary slab designs, with painted doors hand-sprayed in its own UK factory. The company holds the Manufacturing Guild Mark from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.

The Brackenbury Reeded Shaker kitchen pairs the slim Brackenbury frame with a reeded, vertically fluted centre panel. Burbidge makes it from solid timber and timber veneers. The ribbed texture catches the light and adds interest without clutter. That makes it a good fit for contemporary or mid-century inspired kitchens. You can plan it with handles or as a handleless kitchen, which suits a clean run of tall units or an island.
The door is hand-sprayed in matt paint or supplied in natural oak. Burbidge's palette includes Bone, Putty, Soft Grey, Reed Green, Baltic Green and Prussian Blue. Bespoke painted colours are also available if you need a particular shade. The slim frame is described as super-skinny, so the reeded panel is the main feature of each door. Made-to-measure sizes are available.
Our cabinets arrive rigid and ready, with the doors already fitted. We choose a matching carcase colour where one is available, and soft-close hinges and drawers are standard. The carcase is guaranteed for 25 years. Pricing for a 600mm base unit is confirmed with your quote. Book a free design and a designer will send 3D images along with an itemised quote. You can also ask for sample doors, which are worth handling to judge the reeded texture properly.
Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.
Swatches from the EGGER Decorative Collection, 18mm board. “UK stock” and “To order” show Egger’s board availability. Standard carcase colours are included in the price; other colours cost extra and we’ll confirm the price with your order. Colours on screen are approximate.
