Second Nature is the consumer kitchen brand of PWS Distributors Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1909. Its door ranges run from foil and lacquered slabs to real-timber Shakers and in-frame designs, and are sold only through a national network of independent kitchen retailers rather than direct.

About the Unity Rocca slab kitchen

The Unity Rocca kitchen is a made-to-measure slab door from Second Nature in stone-effect décors inspired by concrete and cement. The surface is textured and tactile. It suits industrial and contemporary kitchens. A Unity Rocca slab kitchen pairs naturally with the metallic Metara and woodgrain Nura finishes for a layered, modern look.

There are four standard décors: Banham Concrete, Hayward Concrete, Mocha Cemento and Fumo Cemento. Each is a textured concrete or cement effect on a lay-on slab door. Like the rest of Unity, the doors are cut to size, which helps a kitchen fit the room. Combining Rocca with Metara or Nura is one way to add contrast, since all three belong to the same Unity range. The other Unity doors, Essen, Linea and Nura, can be added for plain colour or woodgrain.

Cabinets are built rigid and delivered with the doors fitted. Every kitchen has soft-close hinges and drawers, plus a 25-year carcase guarantee and a colour-coordinated carcase where available. We design the room for free and show it in 3D, with an itemised quote to follow. Sample doors can be ordered.

Carcase colour

Choose the colour of your cabinets.

Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.

Carcase colour: Natural Lancaster Oak · Egger H3368 ST9 Your carcase colourNatural Lancaster Oak · Egger H3368 ST9Standard carcase — Second Nature has no matching board for Banham Concrete, so we use Natural Lancaster Oak. No extra charge.

Swatches from the EGGER Decorative Collection, 18mm board. “UK stock” and “To order” show Egger’s board availability. Standard carcase colours are included in the price; other colours cost extra and we’ll confirm the price with your order. Colours on screen are approximate.

Before you ask.

See sample doors at our Cheltenham showroom, 60 Alstone Lane, GL51 8HE. Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm.

Can I buy doors only?

Yes. Replacement doors and drawer fronts are sold on their own, from Second Nature, Burbidge, Kitchen Stori and others, plus a made-to-measure service so you can reface existing cabinets. Doors come undrilled for hinges as standard.

Can I have Unity Rocca in a colour that isn't listed?

Unity Rocca is made in the colours shown here only. If you want a different colour, ask us about a paint-to-order range with a similar look.

Do you recommend fitters?

We don't install kitchens ourselves, but we can put you in touch with local installers we have worked with before. They cover Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury and nearby areas. Our design pack includes elevation drawings for your fitter to work from.

Can I see the doors before I buy?

Yes. You can order a sample door (355 x 297mm). The charge is credited back when you place a full order. You can also see a wide range of sample doors at our Cheltenham showroom, Monday to Friday 10am-5pm.

How long does delivery take?

Complete kitchens usually take 2-3 weeks. Bespoke painted kitchens take 5-6 weeks. Cabinets arrive rigid with the doors already fitted, and someone needs to be there to sign for the delivery.
