Second Nature is the consumer kitchen brand of PWS Distributors Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1909. Its door ranges run from foil and lacquered slabs to real-timber Shakers and in-frame designs, and are sold only through a national network of independent kitchen retailers rather than direct.

The Unity Nura kitchen is a made-to-measure slab door from Second Nature in realistic wood-effect décors. The grain structures are linear, striped and reeded, with some charred options. It adds warmth and texture to modern kitchens without the upkeep of real timber. A Unity Nura slab kitchen also mixes well with the plain and stone-effect Unity doors.

There are seven standard décors, including Natural Oak Linear, Light Oak Striped, Burnt Rovere, Tobacco Oak Linear, Dark Oak Striped and Black Oak Linear. That covers tones from light striped oak through tobacco and charred to black. The surface is a textured woodgrain décor on a lay-on slab door. Doors are cut to size within Unity's made-to-measure range, so they can be made to suit the room. Nura sits alongside Essen, Linea, Metara and Rocca in the Unity range, so plain, metallic and stone-effect doors can share a kitchen.

You receive rigid-built cabinets with doors fitted, soft-close hinges and drawers, and a 25-year carcase guarantee. Where available, the carcase colour matches the kitchen. A designer plans your space at no cost, then sends 3D images and an itemised quote. If you want to see the door first, sample doors are available.

Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.

Every colour in Unity Nura.
