Second Nature is the consumer kitchen brand of PWS Distributors Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1909. Its door ranges run from foil and lacquered slabs to real-timber Shakers and in-frame designs, and are sold only through a national network of independent kitchen retailers rather than direct.

The Unity Metara kitchen is a made-to-measure slab door from Second Nature with metallic-effect décors. The surfaces are brushed and anodised in bronze, champagne and oxide tones, which gives an industrial look. A Unity Metara slab kitchen works well as a feature on an island or tall bank. It is especially at home paired with Unity's woodgrain or concrete-effect doors.

There are four standard finishes: Steel Oxide, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Champagne and Iron Oxide. The door is a lay-on slab and, like the rest of the Unity range, it is cut to size. A feature area in Metara can be balanced with plainer Unity colours. The woodgrain Nura and concrete-effect Rocca finishes are other options that sit alongside it in the same kitchen. Its four finishes are all lay-on slab doors, made to size like the rest of Unity.

This range is supplied like every other we sell: rigid cabinets with the doors already on. Soft-close hinges and drawers are included, and the carcase is guaranteed for 25 years, with a colour-coordinated finish where available. Our designer will plan the room for free and give you 3D images and an itemised quote. Sample doors are available.

Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.

Every colour in Unity Metara.
