Second Nature is the consumer kitchen brand of PWS Distributors Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1909. Its door ranges run from foil and lacquered slabs to real-timber Shakers and in-frame designs, and are sold only through a national network of independent kitchen retailers rather than direct.

The Unity Essen kitchen is the core collection in Second Nature's made-to-measure Unity slab range. The lay-on door has a décor face on particleboard, in soft matt plain colours and natural woodgrains. The velvety surface is designed for everyday durability. A Unity Essen slab kitchen suits modern homes, and doors cut to size help in awkward spaces and handleless layouts.

There are nine standard décors. Plain colours include Premium White, Cashmere Grey, Light Grey and Graphite Grey. The woodgrains include Natural Davos Oak, Grey Bardolino Oak and Lincoln Walnut. All doors are cut to size within the Unity made-to-measure range, and an angled-door and drilling service is available. That makes Unity Essen a practical choice where standard cabinet sizes would leave gaps. Unity Essen sits in the same range as Linea, Metara, Nura and Rocca, so the finishes can be combined in one design.

A family-run team in Cheltenham supplies this range. Units are rigid-built, the doors are fitted, and the hinges and drawers close softly. The carcase is colour-coordinated where available and guaranteed for 25 years. Your free design includes 3D images and an itemised quote. Sample doors are available on request.

Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.

Every colour in Unity Essen.
