The Ferro slab kitchen from Kitchen Stori comes rigid, with the doors and drawer fronts already fitted to your cabinets. It comes in 6 colours. The doors are 18mm thick, made from MDF Plus (humidity resistant, FIRA tested).

Ferro is a slab kitchen from Kitchen Stori, supplied as rigid slab kitchen units with the doors already fitted. Popular choices include an Iron slab kitchen, a Rusted Iron slab kitchen, a Copper slab kitchen and a Brass slab kitchen.

Stori (Kitchen Stori) is the retail door and furniture collection of Uform, a manufacturer and distributor of kitchen and bedroom doors. Its ranges are sold through independent approved retailers across the UK and Ireland, covering painted timber, painted MDF, foil, gloss and veneer doors, with paint-to-order and colour-match services.

The Ferro slab kitchen from Kitchen Stori is a flat, square-edged door finished in metallic paint, in smooth or weathered effects. The paints include iron, copper and brass shades. It is often used as a feature, for an island or a run of tall units, alongside plainer doors. The core is MDF Plus, which is humidity resistant and FIRA tested, and the door is 18mm thick. A Ferro kitchen works best as an accent within a wider scheme.

There are six metallic colours: Iron, Rusted Iron, Copper, Brass, Burnished Brass and Oxidised Copper. Iron and Oxidised Copper are the two we have photographed. Smooth and weathered effects give different surfaces, so it is worth comparing them in a sample. You can choose from the Stori handle range, or use handleless rails. Doors can be made to measure, including alternative sizes and designer features. Stori gives a 5-year warranty on all doors and accessories.

Cabinets from us come rigid and ready, with the doors fitted. Where a matching carcase colour is available we use it, and the hinges and drawers are all soft close. The carcase is guaranteed for 25 years. Because Ferro is usually a feature door, a designer can show how it sits beside plainer fronts. The free design includes 3D images and an itemised quote. Ask for a sample door to check the metallic finish in person.

Your cabinets come with a standard carcase in the colour the door maker recommends for your door colour, or Natural Lancaster Oak (Egger H3368) where there is no match. Or choose from 198 Egger plain colours and woodgrains to match or contrast with your doors.
