Choosing a cooker hood.

Which type of hood?

Chimney and angled hoods are a feature on the wall above the hob. Canopy and integrated extractors hide inside a wall unit or under a cabinet. Island hoods hang from the ceiling above a hob on an island.

Match the width to your hob

Choose a hood at least as wide as your hob: we sell hoods from 50cm up to 90cm and 100cm wide. Compare the extraction rate in m³/hr and the noise level on each model.

Ducted or recirculating?

A ducted hood vents air outside and removes steam and smells best. A recirculating hood filters the air and returns it to the room, which suits flats and kitchens with no outside wall; its carbon filters need replacing. Our ducting kits cover the ducted route.

Easy to live with

LED lights brighten the hob, and dishwasher-safe grease filters on many models keep cleaning simple.

Choose a hood at least as wide as your hob. We sell cooker hoods from 50cm up to 100cm wide.

How much is delivery?

CDA appliances are delivered for £40 + VAT however many you order.
