About oak dovetail drawers.

Solid oak, dovetail jointed

Dovetail drawers are made the traditional way, with interlocking joints at each corner, in solid oak with a clear lacquer finish. They are stronger than glued or stapled boxes and look the part when the drawer is open.

Lay-on or in-frame

Choose lay-on drawers when the drawer front sits over the cabinet, and in-frame drawers for cabinets with a face frame. In-frame boxes are narrower and use runner spacers to clear the frame.

Pick by cabinet width, height and depth

Each drawer is listed by the cabinet it fits, 300mm to 1200mm wide, then by height (90mm for cutlery, 180mm for pans) and depth. The size guide on each range shows how the box width is worked out.

Add the runners

Dovetail drawers run on concealed Blum Movento soft-close runners, sold alongside them: 270mm runners for 260mm deep boxes, 450mm for 440mm and 500mm for 490mm. Add Tip-On units for handleless push-to-open drawers.

Which runners do I need?

Blum Movento concealed runners, 10mm longer than the drawer box: 270mm runners for 260mm deep drawers, 450mm for 440mm and 500mm for 490mm. Add them on the drawer's page.

Lay-on or in-frame?

Lay-on drawers suit cabinets where the drawer front covers the carcase. In-frame drawers are narrower, for cabinets with a face frame, and use runner spacers.

Can I order it without a kitchen?

Yes. Accessories can be ordered on their own, with delivery added at checkout. If you order them with a kitchen, they travel with the rest of your order.
