Buying guide

Choosing a cutlery insert.

Measure the drawer, not the cabinet

Cutlery trays are sold by the width of the cabinet they go in: we stock them for 300mm, 400mm, 450mm, 500mm, 600mm, 800mm, 900mm and 1000mm drawers. Check the make of drawer too, because Blum Legrabox, Tandembox and Metabox drawers each take their own inserts.

Plastic, wood or oak?

Plastic cutlery trays from Gollinucci and Second Nature are the budget choice and easy to wash. Blum Orga-Line inserts in anthracite are tailored to Blum drawers, and Wood-Line and the Second Nature dovetail oak inserts add a solid wood finish.

Plates, pans and utensils

Deep drawers work well for crockery with an Orga-Line plate holder or Wood-Line crockery insert, which keeps plates upright and stops them sliding. Utensil inserts suit wide pan drawers from 550mm up to 1200mm.

Mix and match

Kesseböhmer Konfigure sets let you build your own layout from oak and stainless steel pieces, so one drawer can hold cutlery, utensils and spices together.

Before you buy.

Will it fit my drawer?

Cutlery inserts are sized to the drawer system and depth, so match the insert to your drawer brand (for example Blum Tandembox or Legrabox) and the cabinet width.

Plastic, wood or steel?

Plastic trays are the lowest cost and easy to wash. Wooden and steel inserts, such as Blum Orga-Line and Wood-Line, look better in wide drawers and can be arranged to suit you.

Can I order it without a kitchen?

Yes. Accessories can be ordered on their own, with delivery added at checkout. If you order them with a kitchen, they travel with the rest of your order.
